Following is a list for those who wish to draw during any workshop. For younger kids who may finish painting before their workshop is over, it is highly recommended for them to have some basic drawing supplies (i.e. paper and pencil) to keep them working for the entire two hours:
Pad(s) of paper
Drawing materials – pastels, markers, colored pencils, etc.
Drawing pencils: HB, 2B, 4B, 6B (“B” means blendable – to create shadowing)
Tortillions paper blending tools for soft pencils, available at AC Moore or Michaels - very nice to have for serious drawers, but not completely necessary for everyone.
Bag to contain everything
Wear old clothes or bring a smock for painting – acrylic paint comes off skin and hair, but not out of clothes.
